Site Reliability Engineer, Eng Support - USDS
About the positionResponsibilities• Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of service, from inception and design, through to deployment, operation and refinement• Ensure reliable, fault-tolerant, efficiently scalable and cost-effective data, services and infrastructures• Maintain services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health• Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems• Establish the best engineering practice for engineers as well as non-technical people• Design and implement reliable, scalable, robust and extensible big data systems that support core products and business• Work with internal teams to develop and deploy software/config changes to services• Provide operational support for the suite of production systems and services• Collaborate with external stakeholders/partners in improving efficiency and stability of the services.Requirements• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related areas• Experience in one or more programming languages such as Go, Java, C++, Python etc. • Good problem-solving, analytical thinking capabilities and exceptional attention to details• Good communication and collaboration skills.
