Social Media Strategist / Content Planner for Branding Studio (Monthly Retainer Support)
I run a small branding studio focused on building thoughtful, design-forward brands, mostly in the outdoor, lifestyle, and apparel space. I’m looking for a social media strategist / content planner to support ongoing client retainers. This role is about helping shape smarter social presence through strategy, structure, and consistency. Each client we onboard into social will receive: - 10 posts per month - A clear posting schedule - Content themes + light strategy guidance You’ll be helping define what those 10 posts are, why they exist, and how they ladder up to the brand’s positioning. Compensation: - $200 per client, per month (covers 10 planned posts + schedule) - Separate pay (hourly or fixed) for initial social strategy / campaign planning per client We’ll start with a paid trial month using one client to start. What You’ll Be Doing: - Build monthly content plans (10 posts per client) - Create posting schedules for Meta platforms (primarily Instagram + Facebook) - Help shape lightweight social strategies per brand - Identify content pillars, formats, and opportunities Adapt to different client situations: - Some clients will have video - Some clients will have photoshoots - Some clients will have minimal to no assets A big part of this role with be collaborating with me on brand context and direction What You Won’t Be Doing: - No community management - No paid ads management - No heavy motion editing (unless you already offer this and want to discuss) Ideal Fit: - Strong understanding of brand-led social strategy - Comfortable working across different industries - Can think in content systems, not just individual posts - Organized, reliable, and deadline-driven - Familiar with Meta platforms and current content formats • Bonus if you’ve worked with lifestyle, apparel, outdoor, or consumer brands Process & Timing: - Posts are due the last week of each month for the following month - Long-term collaboration potential if it’s a good fit Apply tot his job
