They are seeking a Software Developer to create and maintain full-stack web applications and automation tools that support software operations in the energy industry. Responsibilities Develop and support an ecosystem of full-stack web applications to automate the DGM software design, build, and deployment processes Collaborate with other developers, architects, and stakeholders to design and implement best -in-class software Design and implement reliable, performant, and fault tolerant code based on requirements and/or user stories Ensure reliable code by developing unit tests and test automation tools Assist in code and design reviews Train and mentor other team members in your area of expertise Take part in agile team ceremonies such as scrum, sprint planning, and retrospective Investigate, isolate, and identify solutions to reported software malfunctions Create tools that provide insights to developers, engineers, and leadership across the organization Skills Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field 1-3 years of experience with one or more of the following: Java, Python, and/or Angular JavaScript web-development frameworks RESTful web services Relational and NOSQL databases Git and GitHub for source control SQL and MongoDB General knowledge of and ability to translate customer requirements into technical specifications and documentation Experience with user interface design and adjusting approach to user interaction and feedback Understanding of Desired State Deployment Patterns Understanding of algorithms and complex data structures Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once Strong self-awareness.
