Job title: Operations Sr Process Improvement ManagerCompany: South State BankJob description: Description :SUMMARY/OBJECTIVESIt is the role of the OperationsSenior Process Improvement Manager to be a driving force in managing process improvement initiatives across the enterprise by working with business leaders to deliver business benefits and promote a culture of continuous improvement. This includes being responsible for the planning and execution of multiple process improvement projects that will translate company strategies into action, deliver significant ROI, reduce risk, and achieve strategic objectives.Activities include mentoring and partnering with business units to identify future opportunities and supports talent acquisition/development initiatives. Serves as a trusted adviser to senior business stakeholders, spearheads innovative solutions, while partnering with key support functions such as Finance, HR, and Compliance during implementation. It is the responsibility of the OperationsSenior Process Improvement Manager to take ownership of all tasks and challenges that they encounter in the operation of their assigned position and take ownership of any task assigned to his or her lead.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. BUSINESS, DELIVERY AND PROCESS· Supports project pipeline and improvement portfolio development by forging close relationships with senior leaders to identify the most critical process improvement opportunities across the company, based on findings from areas such as Voice of the Customer, Voice of the Business, Voice of the Employee, and balanced scorecards. · Builds relationships with key constituents necessary to deliver project results, including identifying and breaking down barriers/obstacles, collaborating with key players to influence change.· Identify, plan, lead and implement key projects to improve quality, reduce bolthires, increase productivity and improve cycle time by reducing wasted time, scrap, rework, etc. resulting in significant business improvement and customer satisfaction. · Coach and support project team members in use of tools and methodologies. • Plan, organize, and monitor process improvement event performance using appropriate Lean/Six Sigma project management tools and techniques in alignment with corporate change and project management framework.· Prepare monthly process improvement program / project scorecard reports. · Co-ordinate / manage 3rd party vendor process improvement facilitation / project delivery. • Perform post-implementation reviews of process improvement events to ensure sufficient controls are in place and being adhered to by accountable and responsible business staff. PROFESSIONAL• Serve as a resource for change enablement by embracing change and championing new ideas/opportunities. • Prioritize and manage own workload and team’s workload in order to deliver quality results and meet timelines.· Increase local lean operations capabilities; realize hands-on quick wins via Kaizen workshops, etc. · Analysis of the current state as well as definition and quantification of P&L impact of process improvement areas• Support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest. • Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness and operational efficiency of business units and/or teams.• Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business units. • Establish effective relationships across multiple business partners and project managers. • Effectively communicate ideas and concepts both verbally and in writing. WORK ENVIRONMENTTelecommuting roles no matter if hybrid or 100% full time telecommuting must have a secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions. They must also have a reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by use of cellular data (hot bolthires).
