POSITION OVERVIEW:Responsible for assisting teams to deliver project(s) that span across one or more business units. Coordinate resources, schedules, performance metrics and financials of specially assigned projects including vendor relationships. Maintain awareness of issues, risks, and project changes to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Enable project(s) to ensure overall direction is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives2.Assist in the preparation of estimates and detailed project plans and raise awareness to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope3. Play a key role in a comprehensive and efficient process to establish priorities and milestones for project(s) that understand interdependencies between vendors and business needs4. Support all aspects of project engagement from the day-to-day activities, resources and conduct meetings to engage with external vendor relationships, including communications, resources, budget, changes, risks, and issues5.Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand6. Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence. 7. Analyze organizational, functional, team and/or project needs to provide recommendations including return on investment and cost-benefit analysis leading to successful strategies and execution plans8. Report on project results, metrics, test, and deployment management activities including milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues9.Build and maintain solid relationships with management and business process owners throughout FedEx Freight10. Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures11.
