TheSenior HRCompensation Analyst is primarily responsible for providing positional design consultation, updating and maintaining position classifications, and conducting compensation analyses. This individual will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA) requirements across all roles within Bethany.TheSenior HRCompensation Analyst will serve as the point of contact for job description creation, updating, and removal in accordance with the defined organizational structure within Bethany. This will work closely with all levels of leadership on compensation plan specific projects. This position is expected to function effectively with limited supervision while following the guidelines given on procedures, along with agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements. Success in this role will require the individual to serve as a subject matter expert and conduct their responsibilities with the highest degree of professionalism and confidentiality, while serving as a collaborative partner to all project owners and requesters.ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES• Analyze all new and current positions and reclassification request to ensure appropriate job classification and FLSA exemption status; ·• Effectively research and compile wage and job analysis data, while making recommendations to hiring managers and departments; ·• Advise on inquiries regarding job titling, job codes, and accurately refer to policies and practices;• Manage the organization's compensation processes for base pay offerings, incentive pay structures, title grade structure, and annual merit increases;• Create, update, and maintain internal job descriptions and job codes in the organization's job library and HRIS database;• Maintain Bethany's title grade system and ensure jobs are accurately placed and maintained in the defined structure;• Create, change, and review employee wage and job changes within the HRIS database to include approving, denying, or updating request in accordance with company policy, FLSA, and state and federal requirements;• Conduct the appropriate annual benchmark analysis, and provide a recommendation to leadership with the applicable impact analysis study;• Ensure regular audits are completed for FLSA pay minimum wage updates, and recommend necessary updates to the respective Branch or Department Leader when employees are impacted by such legislative changes;• Create and generate all applicable job codes within the HRIS database;• Create and maintain standard compensation reports, ad hoc reports, and queries;• Compile statistical reports related to job reviews, salary equity issues, and trend analysis;• Make recommendations regarding base salary levels by grade, hiring ranges for respective positions, supplemental wage request, and applicable title grade assignment;• Conducts thorough information searches pertaining to salaries, classifications, and other request;• Create job change letters as needed;• Serve on internal committees for Risk Management, and Quality Assurance as needed;• Partner with Talent Management team to ensure job postings are aligned with job description format and FLSA standards;• Maintain accurate documentation of wage and salary programs and reclassifications;• Perform special projects related to HR functionality, as assigned;• Stay abreast of and review federal, state, and licensing statues and regulations;• Complete other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:• Bachelor's level degree in from an accredited college;• CCP Certification preferred;• At least five (5) years of experience inCompensation and/or Human Resources with exhibited compensation knowledge and skills; ·• Working knowledge of Wage and Hour laws, FLSA, and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEO-1) regulations;• Keen sense of innovation, influence and problem-solving skills required; must be able to work with all levels of employees;• Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines;• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;• Possess strong critical thinking and problem solving skills;• Strong customer service orientation;• Must be able to read and interpret policy;• Exhibit an ability to perform basic data analysis;• Exercise a high level of confidentiality;• Work well under pressure and adaptable to change;• Proficient in Microsoft Office to include an ability with creating pivot tables;• Working knowledge of SharePoint, and HRIS systems (UltiPro preferred).• Computer and typing skills sufficient to perform essential job functions;• Must be 21 years old with a valid driver's license with at least 3 years driving experience to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany.
