They work closely with software engineering / application development teams and monitor all stages of the development process to deliver high quality solutions and ensure that all solutions presented are held to superior quality standards. They document and evaluate test results and defects, track and manage bugs to troubleshoot and work to resolve issues. This senior QA professional works hands-on, proactively, to evolve Quantum Health’s QA practices and automate the execution of test cases/scenarios to improve the team’s speed of delivery.What you’ll do• Support QA activities related to complex application and system implementation projects, including web and mobile applications, APIs, and databases. • Lead and participate in test framework maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives. • Execute automated front end and back end testing, validation and production sign off. • Identify, document and prioritize defects and bugs. • Define testing strategy, scope and prioritization. • Prepare detailed test plans that cover UAT/user story acceptance criteria and foreseeable edge cases.• Participate in daily standups, user story review, estimation, and sprint planning. • Mentor QA Analysts on best practices and organizational standards. • All other duties as assigned. What you’ll bring• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, MIS or another related field. • Experience: 3+ years' experience leading the QA/test automation function in teams; Strong understanding of automation tools, techniques and strategies with experience in implementation of these strategies. • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps principles.• Technical Expertise: test automation platforms such as Ruby/Cucumber/Gherkin, Cypress, Selenium; object-oriented programming, and experience with various automation frameworks. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable translating technical information to non-technical audiences at all levels of the business. • Ability to understand and communicate risk of technical defects and/or trade off decisions. Ability to advise across the delivery lifecycle on quality. • Experience in creating test plans and cases, as well as engineering best practices related to both manual and automated software testing.• Strong administrative/technical skills; Comfort working on a PC using bolthires Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), IM/video conferencing (Teams & Zoom), and telephones efficiently. • Trustworthy and accountable behavior, capable of viewing and maintaining confidential information daily.
