Sr System Analyst, Legal Innovation & Operations
About the positionResponsibilities• Assist with projects across the Law Department. • Provide LIO program support and collaborate to improve day-to-day efficiency. • Implement process improvements and facilitate change. • Contribute to the Law Departments automation efforts using Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, and similar tools. • Update and create new forms, processes, and tools for the Law Department, using MS Forms, MS Lists, and other Company technology platforms. • Identify and translate business requirements into technical requirements.• Provide daily support and management of multiple critical production systems, including troubleshooting production problems and determining root causes of issues. • Review, analyze, and resolve data-related issues (schema, invalid data, incorrect format, etc.) utilizing creative solutions and collaborating with IT staff when necessary. • Respond to Law Department end users requests in a timely and professional manner. • Manage application and user roles and permissions; track license usage and compliance.• Evaluate, test, train, implement, and support technology solutions utilized by the Law Department, interfacing with IT staff as needed. • Provide ongoing support for legal technology projects, including system implementation, active participation in project discussions, and serving as the subject matter expert (SME) for deployed applications. • Manage the Law Departments internal SharePoint site and intranet pages. • Conduct yearly audits of Law Department applications. • Support and manage additional projects and initiatives within the Department.• Assist the Company during system emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment which may require working extended or non-traditional hours, including weekends and holidays. Requirements• Bachelor's Degree and three years related work experience with direct responsibility for project tasks and technology solutions, or Associate's Degree and five years related work experience. • 3-5 years experience managing and implementing technology solutions, and comfort with learning (and self-learning) new tools and systems.• 3-5 years proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and O365, including Copilot, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Proficiency with SharePoint and OneDrive. • 3-5 years proficiency with Microsoft Forms, Power Automate, and Power Apps. • Ability to assist end-users by phone, email, in person or remotely, using tools such as Microsoft Teams. • Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional groups and building relationships with stakeholders to set objectives and produce results. • Ability to handle confidential and proprietary information using excellent discretion and judgment.• Strong attention to detail in fast-paced environments. • Proven track record of breaking down processes and identifying key pain points to deliver business improvements. Nice-to-haves• 2 years experience in legal operations in an in-house legal department, in a law-firm, and/or supporting legal technology solutions and end users (document management, matter management, contract management, e-billing, knowledge management, workflow solutions, etc.)• Project ManagementProfessional (PMP) certification.Benefits• Hybrid work environment. • Emergency response role requiring flexibility in working hours.
