Staff Applied AI Product Engineer
Job Description: • Bridge the gap between AI capabilities and patient needs • Take a hands-on leadership role in integrating AI features • Collaborate with Data and Product teams on use cases and build robust RAG pipelines • Partner with DevOps to leverage cloud infrastructure for deployment • Implement monitoring and observability practices for AI services • Own the AI engineering strategy and mentor the engineering team on AI practices Requirements: • 10+ years of software development experience • 2+ years of dedicated professional experience architecting production-grade applications with LLMs • Experience working in a web application environment (Ruby on Rails, Python) • Comfortable working with DevOps to design and configure Terraform for AI infrastructure • Strong understanding of SQL and data modeling • Interpersonal skills with empathy, courtesy, and friendliness Benefits: • Stock option plan • Flexible schedules and remote work • Chicago and San Francisco offices available • Self-managed vacation days, within reason • Paid parental leave • Health, vision, and dental insurance • 401K retirement plan Apply tot his job
