Title: Strategic Partnership Compliance Analyst Location Salt Lake City, Utah (Hybrid) Department 260 - Compliance Employment Type Full-Time Minimum Experience Mid-level Compensation Competitive and DOE Job Description: Please Note: This is a Utah-based hybrid position, which will require some regular in-office days each week. Additionally, employment with Medallion Bank is contingent on passing both a background check and maintaining a clean background. How You Will Support The Team: The Strategic Partnerships Compliance Analyst reports directly to the Director, SP Compliance and serves as a critical support pillar for Compliance Managers (“CMs”) in the oversight and management of compliance-related activities and risks of Strategic Partners. This role drives the administrative functions and data-driven analysis required to ensure our Strategic Partners remain in full alignment with the Bank’s compliance requirements. What you will do: Work closely with CMs to coordinate and complete reviews of Strategic Partner compliance materials, including policies, procedures, marketing, and customer-facing material. Coordinate the timely lifecycle of Strategic Partner compliance requests, from initial submission through stakeholder review and final formal approval. Facilitate the successful onboarding of new Strategic Partners by meticulously tracking due diligence requests and milestones during the due diligence and onboarding process. Aggregate recurring partner compliance metrics, leveraging data visualization tools to produce clear, actionable charts and reports that illustrate compliance metrics and risk trends for executive leadership. Oversee the end-to-end management of internal compliance project initiatives, continuously enhancing the compliance toolkit and process documentation to ensure scalable and consistent partner oversight. Facilitate the successful execution of regulatory examinations, internal audits, and compliance testing/monitoring by coordinating documentation requests and ensuring the timely delivery of accurate information. Act as a key participant in compliance meetings by overseeing meeting agendas, finalizing meeting notes, documenting key takeaways, and managing a centralized tracking system for all meeting deliverables and post-meeting action items. Perform and document targeted regulatory research as assigned to support the Bank’s oversight initiatives. Support ad-hoc special projects, applying analytical skills and regulatory knowledge to unique compliance challenges as they arise. Perform other duties as assigned. What you need to get the job done: Bachelor’s degree, preferred Prior analyst experience required. Some regulatory compliance experience in financial services/banking industry/consumer lending required. Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., FDIC, UDFI) is highly desired. Experience with FinTech, consumer lending, bank cards, or small business lending is highly desired. PERFERRED SKILLS Proven ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to advance mutual goals between the Bank and its Strategic Partners; must be a collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex decisions and information effectively to diverse stakeholders. Ability to analyze complex issues with high attention to detail, identify root causes, and drive sound, actionable solutions. Assertive self-starter capable of managing multiple deliverables simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while meeting established deadlines. Highly organized and self-motivated professional who can work independently to finish projects while remaining flexible to assist with various tasks as needed.
