We’re seeking aSenior Systems Engineer to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and drive complex systems engineering efforts across the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), Allied System for Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and partner Federal Agencies.In this high-impact role, you’ll shape the architecture and integration of mission-critical GEOINT systems that directly support U.S. and allied operations. What You’ll DoAs a technical leader, you will:· Mentor and guide mid- and junior-level systems engineers across the full engineering lifecycle, including:o Requirements developmento Solution architecture and systems integrationo Scheduling and service developmento Testing, evaluation, and maintainabilityo Reliability and resiliency engineering· Lead planning and analysis of user requirements and system architectures· Improve system performance through the review of cloud service capabilities, workflows, and scheduling constraints· Oversee the development of solution designs based on requirements analysis and emerging technologies· Translate mission and customer needs into actionable system and capability requirements· Support the allocation of requirements to architecture components and program execution· Guide systems integration across multiple platforms, programs, and agencies· Conduct technical assessments including:o Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs)o Courses of Action (CoAs)o Trade Studieso Engineering Assessments· Assist in strategic planning and oversight of:o Project managemento Performance engineeringo Risk managemento Interface design· Operate at the enterprise level—integrating multiple systems, services, and processes within Major Systems Acquisitions, spanning organizational and agency boundariesWhy Join Us?· Influence the future of GEOINT enterprise systems· Work on mission-critical projects that directly support national security· Collaborate with top-tier engineering teams and government leaders· Lead transformative efforts in a fast-paced, high-impact environmentRequired QualificationsEducation & Experience· Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following fields:o Systems Engineering, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Other related STEM disciplineso OR 12 years of experience as a Systems Engineer in lieu of a degree· Minimum of 12 years of experience in government or industry in one or more of the following areas:o DoD/Intelligence Community (IC) Acquisition Processeso Requirements development processeso PPBES (Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System)o Systems engineering of large, complex System of Systems (SoS) or Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)/Cloud environmentsTechnical Skills· Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycleSecurity Clearance· Active TS/SCI clearanceDesired QualificationsEducation· Master’s degree in:o Systems Engineeringo OR a related technical or scientific field (as listed above)Certifications & Licensure· INCOSE Certified Systems EngineeringProfessional (CSEP) certification· LicensedProfessional Engineer (PE)Technical Knowledge & Skills· Working knowledge of:o Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools, languages, and processeso Software Development Frameworks· Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas:o PhotogrammetryoRemote sensingo Image scienceo Information scienceso Geographic Information Systems (GIS)o Geomaticso Other related geospatial fieldsDomain Expertise· Documented work experience in the Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) field· In-depth knowledge of current:o NSG – National System for Geospatial-Intelligenceo ASG – Allied System for Geospatial-Intelligenceo NRO – National Reconnaissance Office enterpriseProfessional Engagement· Membership or leadership in professional organizations such as:o ACSM – American Congress on Surveying and Mappingo ASCE – American Society of Civil Engineerso ASPRS – American Society for Photogrammetry andRemote Sensingo OGC – Open Geospatial Consortiumo SAREM – Society for AmericanRemote Earth Monitoringo USGIF – United States Geospatial Intelligence FoundationWHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?• Full Benefits Package• 10 Days PTO• 10 Paid Holidays• 401KWHO ARE WE?
