The Telehealth Nurse provides telephonic and electronic support to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers for prescription and specialty medications. Responsibilities include patient outreach, adherence support, clinical data collection, compliance with regulatory programs, and coordination of follow-up services. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide telephonic / electronic support using behavior modification and motivational interviewing to drive medication adherenceCollect and document patient-specific clinical informationEnsure compliance with regulatory, program, and service line requirementsIdentify risks, concerns, and stakeholder needs and escalate appropriatelyFollow up with patients and physicians to support compliance and therapy persistenceMaintain active nursing licensure (LPN or RN)Minimum QualificationsEducation & LicensureVocational / technical nursing training requiredActive RN or LPN license (must be maintained throughout employment)Experience2+ years in healthcare, physician office, telehealth, or lab environmentSkills & CompetenciesStrong communication (verbal & written)High attention to detail; accurate data entry and documentationAbility to navigate multiple online systems simultaneouslyAbility to interpret safety rules, procedures, and clinical instructionsStrong computer skills : Microsoft Suite, typing, documentationAbility to troubleshoot issues and independently resolve problemsExperience supporting patients with complex needsAbility to identify adverse events and product complaintsAdaptability in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environmentWorking ConditionsFullyRemote / Work-From-HomeMust maintain HIPAA-compliant environmentMay require sitting / standing 7 10 hours / dayExtended hours possibleHeadset may be required for prolonged periodsThe Telehealth Nurse provides telephonic and electronic support to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers for prescription and specialty medications.Responsibilities include patient outreach, adherence support, clinical data collection, compliance with regulatory programs, and coordination of follow-up services.
