The examiner will be responsible for conducting:• Full Title Searches• Chain of Title reconstruction• Review of Deeds, Mortgages, Assignments, Releases, Easements, Judgments, Federal/State tax liens• Public records research (County Clerk, e-Recording, court systems)• Title Commitment preparation (Schedule A/B, requirements, exceptions)• Curative work on defects, breaks, name variances, encumbrances, and municipal issuesThis role includes supporting the production of ALTA commitments, assisting with title clearance, and collaborating with processors, attorneys, and underwriters to ensure timely and compliant closings.This is a great opportunity for someone who wants flexibility, independence, and the ability to help build a growing agency.
