Gifted Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a placement in Jackson, Mississippi. This position involves closely monitoring patient vital signs with advanced medical equipment and reporting findings to the physician. As a Telemetry Nurse, you will apply your specialized knowledge in cardiac rhythms and have the critical skills needed to intervene if necessary. You will be surrounded by a technical team that is both innovative and compassionate in meeting patient needs. Monitor patient vital signs using telemetry equipment and report any irregularities to physicians. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. Administer medications as prescribed and oversee the usage of intravenous fluid lines. Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans. Prepare patients and assist with patient examinations or treatments. Educate patients and their families on post-hospital care, including further treatment procedures and home-based needs. Proficiency in using telemetry cardiac monitoring equipment. Strong assessment and diagnostic skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a stressful environment. Advanced knowledge of common medications and side effects. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Mississippi or a compact state license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
