Travel Telemetry RN - High Point, NC
A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced RN specializing in telemetry and medical-surgical nursing to provide exceptional care within a dynamic inpatient setting. This travel position offers the chance to support patients with multiple co-morbidities, including a focus on stroke (neuro) care, at a respected regional medical center. Ideal candidates have strong clinical skills, are adaptable, and maintain high standards of professionalism. Key Qualifications and Experience • Minimum of 2 years of relevant registered nursing experience • Current BLS and NIH certifications required • Proficient in EPIC electronic health records system • Telemetry expertise, including remote monitoring experience; on-unit monitoring preferred • Skilled in feeding tube care, port access, blood product administration, central and peripheral line management, PICC line care, and IV starts • Knowledge of CVA care, nasal cannula use, isolation precautions, wound care, and wound vac management • Comfortable managing a nursing ratio of approximately 1:5-6 • Flexibility to float across multiple facilities within the healthcare system Schedule/Hours • 12-hour night shifts (7 PM to 7:30 AM) • Every other week (EOW) coverage, including holidays as needed Location Highlights: High Point, NC High Point is a vibrant city in North Carolina known for its rich history, thriving furniture industry, and cultural attractions.
