Travel Telemetry RN - Winston-Salem, NC
An exciting opportunity is available for experienced Registered Nurses skilled in Telemetry and Medical-Surgical care. This travel position offers the chance to work on a dynamic patient population including observation, respiratory conditions, general medical surgical diagnoses, palliative care, hospice, psychiatric observation, diabetes management, and surgical care. Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as you will support multiple units within a reputable healthcare network. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Minimum 2 years of RN experience; first-time travelers are encouraged to apply • Strong Telemetry and Medical-Surgical nursing skills • BLS certification required • Ability to pass a mandatory EKG exam during onboarding • EPIC electronic medical records experience preferred • Previous Charge RN experience is a plus • Flexibility to float across various hospital units as needed • Commitment to punctuality and adherence to a strict zero-tolerance attendance policy Location: Winston-Salem, NC Winston-Salem is a vibrant city known for its rich history, cultural attractions, and excellent quality of life. Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive nursing care to diverse patient populations primarily on a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit • Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage patients requiring telemetry support • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care • Utilize EPIC charting to document patient information accurately • Support end-of-life, palliative, and hospice care needs as necessary • Maintain professional practice standards in a fast-paced hospital setting Schedule: • Night shifts, 3 twelve-hour shifts per week (7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.) • Every other weekend work required; holiday shifts as needed • Floating across various hospital units may be required This travel nursing opportunity requires flexibility to relocate to Winston-Salem and deliver outstanding care within a collaborative healthcare system.
