KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Develop highly scalable, automated testing for reporting and data integration features and ensure quality standards for platform architecture• Perform quality control testing for reporting and data integration features to ensure deliverables accurately meet user expectations and remain HIPAA compliant• Validate data with architects and developers for Data Warehouse and Operational databases• Develop, run and report on performance tests to ensure system scalability needs are met• Develop, run and report on stress tests to ensure system integrity needs are met• Meet with users and business analysts to understand requirements, translate them into quality assurance tests and document test suites.• Develop a test automation framework for reporting and data integration platforms and integrate automation processes into Jira• Implement technology projects and support the resulting features in a Production environment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:• Highly ambitious, given role will grow as the company does• Self-starter, very energetic and ability to change directions quickly• High standard of quality and commitment to produce top-notch work• Proficiency using automation technologies like JMeter, Postman, SoapUI, Selenium, etc.• Experience testing reports developed in Power BI or similar reporting platform• Experience testing data integration jobs, web services and ETLs• Proficiency and experience using Structured Query Language (SQL) to analyze and query data for testing• Experience testing services developed using Microsoft Azure highly preferred• Proficiency in Java preferred• Strong curiosity, desire to learn new skills and acquire new knowledge• Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to work well with people of different backgrounds and skill sets• Ability to multi-task across a range of diverse projects• Ability to work independently and in a highly virtual environment, with colleagues all over the country• Strong technology skills and ability to master working across a range of software programs, including Microsoft Office applications, Jira, Visio• Strong work ethic and willingness to work long hours, including nights and weekends when required• Willingness to cover after-hours support and software releases when neededRequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:• Bachelor’s degree from highly selective university in a technical field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or Physics• Several years of work experience in a demanding, high-stakes environment such as investment banking or management consulting• Industry experience in healthcare or a regulated industry preferredUpward Health is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.We are committed to attracting, retaining and maximizing the performance of a diverse and inclusive workforce.
