About the positionResponsibilities• Evaluate, diagnose, prescribe, treat, and educate patients of all ages by phone, telemedicine or live chat (able to evaluate/treat/document in chart 3-4 patients per hour)• Schedule follow-up appointments with patients as needed• Provide chat-based support to patients• Order, administer, and interpret diagnostic labs and studies• Record patient medical histories in the electronic medical record• Create patient care plans and implement existing care plans• Participate in team meetings and conferences to enhance an interdisciplinary approach to health care delivery• Maintain current level of knowledge relative to professional practice• Maintain all required professional documentation, such as license, certifications, DEA as well as VM educational requirements• Collaborate with physicians MD/DO on the Care Team as neededRequirements• Board Certification (NCCPA or AANP or ANCC)• Education: DNP, FNP, ENP, or PA from an accredited program• Licensed NP or PA (Multistate licensure/Compact licensure preferred in AZ, TX, KY, GA, CO, MI)• DEA certification required or eligible• A commitment of 3-12 hours night shifts per week (includes rotational nights, weekends and holidays)• Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required• Experience providing primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine or internal medicine for at least two years.Experience in virtual care/telemedicine preferred• Knowledge of computer-based data management programs and information systems, as well as medical records and EMR/EHR technology• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Internet access per Village Medical policyBenefits• This is a full-time clinical position - FTE 1.0• This is an annual salary position.
