Fiber Broadband Association members represent the entire broadband ecosystem: service providers, suppliers, contractors, consultants, consumers, policymakers, high-tech companies, and application providers.DESCRIPTION:While our advocacy is DC-based, our employees can work from anywhere they can be the most productive. The FBA professional staff is currently a small team, but we have many contributors from our 430+ member companies in North America and over 100 companies in Latin America. The Fiber Broadband Association is seeking qualified applications for our Webinar Producer & Virtual Events Operations Manager position. We are looking for a self-starting, detail-oriented, independent team member with a poised, outgoing personality who can adapt to any situation.Webinar Producer & Virtual Events Operations Manager position will plan, promote, produce, and deliver of a series of Fiber Broadband Association webinars and virtual events, including Fiber for Breakfast, Where’sThe Funding, educational webinars, and committee and working group webinars. This role will develop, solicit sponsors, secure speakers, and publish a webinar calendar aimed at maximizing number of programs delivered, sponsorship revenue, and increasing overall webinar attendance. The Producer will be responsible for collaborating with subject matter experts to identify content and develop and manage the webinars program.Collaborate with Marketing and Operations teams to develop discount pricing and package deals while identifying venues and methods of delivery to drive new business and have knowledge of budgets metrics for performance tracking. This role will also work to streamline processes for efficiency and bolthires savings. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ACTIVITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:• Own the lifecycle for one-hour video webinar production (60+ webinars annually) including but not limited to scheduling, creating registration pages, producing eblasts, preparing social media post collateral, writing webinar scripts, creating PowerPoint decks, leading prep calls with guest speakers, and executing webinars• Fulfill the full scope of deliverables and branding owed to sponsors and Premier members for one-hour webinars; serve as the primary contact for members and non-members as well as speakers and registrants; follow through on responding to requests, questions, and provide timely customer service• Hosting responsibilities and/or Q&A moderation and housekeeping remarks duties on-screen for video webinars• Trained as an organizer on the ON24 platform for live and pre-recorded webinars• Distributing new contacts from webinars to Membership Team in a timely manner post-webinar• Writing virtual event recap emails with results/metrics, documenting webinar metrics, and sending thank you e-notes to participants post-webinar• Adding events to website calendar and website resource section (i.e.webinar replay, presentations) on www.fiberbroadband.org• Coordinate with FBA Board members, FBA committee members, and FBA partners serving as guest speakers on 30-minute and one-hour webinars• Serve as a secondary member of the Fiber for Breakfast weekly webinar series production team and step up as a backup for the lead role, when necessary• Assistance with Premier Member Meeting event registration, networking activities and related logistics, member services communications, and guest speaker coordination• Travel to annual Fiber Connect conference, Premier Member Meeting, and potential domestic travel to 3-5 Regional Fiber Connect events throughout the year• Duties as assigned for other live eventsESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:• High technology aptitude and comfort on webinar platform and other components of a tech stack (including Association Management Software like, Impexium)• Strong writer and proofreader• Extraordinary attention to detail• On-screen presence and charisma• Relationship-builder• Commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience• Prioritize quality control of virtual event experience for FBA community• Previous experience in webinar production, event planning, project management, member services, customer experience, and/or an association a definite plus!• Other responsibilities to be determined based on the needs of the organization and the skills and experience of the chosen applicant. REQUIREMENTS:• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or related field. • Experience in working with cross-functional teams on multiple projects with demonstrably successful deliverables.
