Summary:The Sr Data Governance Analyst plays a pivotal role in driving data-informed decision-making across Children's Health. This hands-on position leverages advanced analytical tools to uncover meaningful clinical and operational insights that support strategic initiatives and improve patient outcomes.With a deep understanding of healthcare data and operations, the analyst partners with leaders across the organization to translate complex data into actionable intelligence. TheSenior Analyst is a key contributor to the data governance program by conducting regular assessments of data assets establishing standards, creating necessary policy documentations, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring alignment with business objectives. By fostering a culture of data stewardship, this role helps maximize the value of data as a strategic asset and promotes consistent, high-quality analytics across the enterpriseResponsibilities:• Leverage data analytics/problem solving mindset to deliver meaningful clinical and operational data analysis and insights to various organization leaders• Aligning with strategic priorities, monitor and analyze key performance indicators, elicit key insights, identify and quantify opportunities for improvement and associate them with operational knowledge in partnership with key stakeholders• Create scorecards in analytical tools like Tableau, build executive level visualizations and presentations to better tell the operational story for senior leadership team• Data Governance: Monitor and assess data quality for key metrics, identify issues and provide pragmatic recommendations to surface data quality to clinical and business stakeholders• Work with cross-functional teams to establish data standards and ensure adherence to governance policies.• Act as a liaison between data stewards and analytics team, promoting adoption of standard work best practices• Provide training sessions and resources to educate staff on data governance principles and practices. • Catalog and manage data assets, ensuring they are properly classified and accessible to authorized users. • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data governance, applying new insights to enhance organizational practices. • Prepare and present reports on data governance activities, metrics, and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.How You’ll Be Successful:WORK EXPERIENCE• At least 6 years as a data analyst or equivalent role in healthcare provider industry Required• Experience working in Epic EMR data and workflow Required• Deep understanding of healthcare data and associated terminologies Required• Awareness of healthcare operations and process improvement RequiredEDUCATION• Four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Required• Graduate or professional work or advanced degree; or equivalent experience PreferredLICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS• Epic Clarity or Caboodle certification PreferredA Place Where You BelongWe put our people first.We welcome, value, and respect the beliefs, identities and experiences of our patients and colleagues.
