This role helps clients determine whether their organization is providing benefits and paying salaries that are equitable and competitive within the marketplace. The Consultant develops, communicates, and implements salary survey data for the inclusion of base pay, bonuses, and incentives in Korn Ferry's market leading rewards benchmarking database.Additionally, the Consultant supports work measurement projects, allowing clients to enhance their job architecture, assessments, and career development conversations. KEY RESPONSIBLITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIESClient and Customer Management• Lead client calls for complex or marquee accounts. • Provide statistical analysis to clients on compensation and benefits. Reviews junior team members' analyses. • Provide client support and enablement services for complex and cross platform reward and work measurement engagement.• Identify appropriate Success Profile matches to clients' roles for Profile Manager & Architect engagements. • Work with clients independently to review internal grading structures and benchmark job matches. • Anticipate client needs to drive platform enhancement recommendations. Product/Client Services and Solution Development• Serve as the main point of contact for clients who purchase KF Pay/Profile Manager/Architect subscriptions. • Lead job mapping sessions with clients. • Lead product demos and training for clients and partner with clients to show them how to best utilize our products.• Interpret clients' needs and make recommendations concerning data usage and implementations. Project Management• Own and execute plans to deliver medium to large custom client projects. • Manage custom survey assignments to supplement client data needs. • Lead 1 to 3 industry sectors, depending on size, to provide operational and client support. Work closely & collaboratively with colleagues to direct sector development initiatives. • Think about the survey cycle holistically and anticipate what actions need to be taken from short-term and long-term perspectives.• Manage work measurement implementation engagements to support client utilization of job architecture, career development, and assessment work. Internal Communication and Cross Team Collaboration• Proactively communicate sector initiatives and updates Commercial, Advisory, Delivery, and Shared Delivery Center teams. • Provide support to Commercial and Advisory teams regarding the interpretation of market compensation practices and guidelines. • Train junior team members and serve as a subject matter expert for database management & client management processes.• Collaborate with Commercial and Advisory teams to plan client meetings and forums. • Partners with international data collection team on multinational client accounts. System Management• Proactively maintain data management system (Salesforce) as accurately as possible and provide feedback for efficiencies and updates. • Think strategically about how our systems work together. • Help to develop best practices to use the systems efficiently. Data Collection and Analysis• Supports clients through the data collection process using the DCT and automation process.Verify any data quality items directly with clients. • Performs market review independently to identify any outliers in the overall database. Perform standard quality checks for sector reports. • Launch and conduct salary surveys for a broad range of industry sectors, including collecting data, performing analysis, interpreting data, and delivering results. Research• Research, gather, and analyze data to determine appropriate salary levels for client jobs in the benchmark database. • Identify areas of improvement for their assigned sector(s), including understanding current pay practices, trends, and key HR business needs within the sector and data countries.PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS• Experience in any compensation and benefits administration related activities. • Experience in questionnaire design, data analysis, presentation writing, and delivery of client projects. • 2 to 3 years of experience working in a human resources environment with exposure to compensation and benefits. • Ability to handle confidential data concerning employee information. • Proficient in Microsoft office, with a high level of proficiency in Excel. • Ability to work in an interactive and collaborative team environment.• Strong time management and project management skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to adapt in a frequently changing business environment. EDUCATION• Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business, or another related field.
