Audit Manager with mid sized CPA firm in Charlotte

Job Title: Audit ManagerLocation: Hybrid in Charlotte, NCCompensation: Up to 155k base + bonus + full benefits packageRequirements: 5+ years of public accounting experience, CPA & experience managing team membersWe're a mid sized CPA based firm that's been in business for 35+ years in the Charlotte market providing Tax & Audit services aiding clientele within construction, financial services, manufacturing & distribution, non profit & real estate to name a few. Our growth of the team is a direct result of continual building of our client base.What You Will Be Doing- Technical knowledge sufficient to supervise multipleSenior and Staff Accountants as well as review their work- Organizational capabilities to oversee multiple on-going engagements- Ability to network with other business professionals in order to represent the firm and develop additional professional services- Skills necessary to develop quality client relationships and loyalty- Communicate with client personnel in order to identify and assess existing client accounting processes, internal controls, and compliance with regulatory requirements- Review accounting transactions and consider appropriate application of generally accepted accounting principles- Prepare financial statement footnotes (on areas audited) and internal control observations and recommendations- Research fundamental issues using online toolsWhat You Need for this Position- Bachelors degree in accounting.Masters preferred. - Minimum of five years of experience in Public Accounting as an Auditor- CPAWhat's In It for You- Vacation/PTO: 200 hours PTO- Medical: 100% of medical covered for employee - benefits provided by bolthires- Dental- Vision- Bonus- 401k: 3% of your total compensation.
