Job Description:Summary:This person will provide environmental permitting, compliance, and sustainability support by maintaining, managing, and implementing environmental management information systems. This person will work with clients to identify, scope, and manage environmental review, permitting, and compliance projects and provide technical solutions and support. Work will involve creating SQL -based regulatory reports, troubleshooting technical issues with the software platform, developing integrations with other data sources, creating compliance dashboards and email notifications, identifying data gaps, providing regulatory assistance for the preparation of compliance plans, and reviewing regulations and technical documents.Work may also involve performing environmental data analytics and generating dashboards to support clients in monitoring performance, enhancing environmental compliance, and bolstering ESG initiatives. MinimumQualifications:5 years of experience supporting environmental software implementations in a consulting or industrial environmentProficiency with SQLExperience with air emission calculationsExperience and/or familiarity with federal and state environmental regulatory programsStrong technical and problem-solving skills, including attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness, as well as a commitment to producing high-quality deliverablesStrong oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with project team members, clients, and regulatory staffDemonstrated ability to fulfill commitments on schedule and to do what it takes to meet clients' service expectations and requirementsEffectiveness in building working relationships and working on multidisciplinary project teamsA flexible working style and willingness to occasionally modify personal schedule as required to meet project deadlines and/or client needsSelf-initiative and motivation, with an emphasis on client service and cultivating a career in environmental consultingAcceptable driving recordAbility to travel to client locations and other Barr officesLegal authorization to work in the United States or Canada without the need for sponsorshipPreferredQualifications:Proficiency with Intelex ACTS and/or V6 softwareExperience with off-the-shelf EHS software packages, such as EarthSoft EQuIS, Enablon, Cority, Sphera, and/or SAP EHSProficiency with database and programming platforms such as Power BI, XML, HTML, Java, Python, or similarFamiliarity with requirements gathering, documentation, and organizational change managementExperience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologiesKnowledge of and familiarity with federal and state regulatory agency staff, resource managers, and other government officialsAbility to process complex or rapidly developing information to extract key issues and implications and develop appropriate strategiesExperience training and mentoring staffAptitude for developing client relationships, leads, and opportunities and turning them into businessColorado/Nevada Applicants Only:Compensation:The anticipated base salary range for this position is $96,000-$119,000.Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors. Employees in this position may also be eligible for a discretionary cash bonus.
