Cloud Engineer (AWS / DevOps Engineer)
Cloud Engineer (AWS / DevOps Engineer) Location: Remote Required: • Active secret clearance • CompTIA security • AWS certified Role Description: Experienced AWS / DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain secure cloud environments with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity and operations in air-gapped or restricted network environments. The ideal candidate has a strong Linux background, hands-on AWS experience, and proven DevOps practices supporting secure, mission-critical systems. Basic Qualifications: • 4+ years of Linux (Red Hat, CentOS or Oracle Linux preferred), Python, AWS and git experience • 3+ years experience with DevOps (configuration management (Ansible preferred), application deployment, security, etc.). • Strong experience with AWS core services • Proficiency in infrastructure automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) • Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills • Ability to work independently in secure, highly controlled environments • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 compliant certificate Preferred Skills and Qualifications: • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or equivalent • AWS Certified Security Specialty or equivalent • Experience delivering, securing and managing container-based applications. • Experience working on Agile Software Teams • Experience in supporting DoD customers in a technical environment. • Experience with government cloud solutions (AWS, Azure etc.) • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Travel Required: None anticipated Apply tot his job
