Cloud & Database Disaster Recovery Consultant Senior / Lead - Database Disaster Recovery - Onsite Role Location: Pittsburgh, PA Duration: 6-12 Months+ Rate: Market $60-75/Hr Key Responsibilities • Perform end-to-end database assessments across environments • Analyze business criticality and map applications to databases • Define RTO and RPO requirements in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders • Assess current backup, restore, replication, and DR mechanisms • Identify gaps between current state vs target RTO/RPO • Recommend DR architectures (active-active, active-passive, multi-region, replication) • Validate backup strategies (full, incremental, log backups, snapshots) • Support DR drills and restore testing • Document assessment findings, risks, and recommendations • Provide cost vs resilience trade-off analysis • Work closely with Infrastructure, Application, Security, and Cloud teams RTO/RPO definition and validation. Backup, restore and disaster recovery strategy system Strong experience with enterprise databases such as - SQL server, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
