I am seeking a Colorado-licensed family law attorney for a one-time, short-term consultation related to a recently received Dissolution of Marriage filing (with minor children) in Denver County, Colorado. This engagement is strictly for document review and legal Q&A only. It is not for ongoing representation, drafting pleadings, filing documents, contacting opposing counsel, or appearing in court. Scope of Work The selected attorney will: Review a dissolution letter and initial court filings Explain the legal implications in plain English Answer specific questions related to: Deadlines and procedural requirements Automatic injunctions and restrictions Financial disclosure obligations General divorce and custody process in Colorado Flag any immediate risks or issues I should be aware of Help me prepare informed questions for my future retained counsel This engagement does NOT include: Filing or drafting court documents Contacting the opposing party or their attorney Negotiation or advocacy Representation of record Ongoing or future legal services The attorney will not be retained as counsel in this matter.
