Commercial Insurance Consultant / Advisor – Early-Stage Agency
We are a new tech-enabled commercial insurance agency focused on small businesses. We’re looking for an experienced commercial insurance professional to act as a fractional consultant/advisor as we build and refine our model. We are licensed brokers looking for some guidance from experienced brokers, particularly those with commercial P&C experience across a variety of lines and both admitted/non-admitted risks. This is an advisory / consulting role with the option to participate in production - things we're looking for:- Help us design intake, submission, quoting, and renewal workflows- Provide input on service standards- Serve as a sounding board on complex placements, coverage structure, and negotiations- Advise on our specialization strategyIdeal background:- 5+ years in commercial P&C as a broker/producer, account executive, or similar role- Experience placing small and mid-market commercial accounts; E&S / non-standard experience is a plus- Strong familiarity with wholesalers/MGAs, programs, and carrier appetites- Able to give clear, practical guidance to business owners who are relatively new to the industry- Experience helping launch or grow an agency, program, or niche vertical- Prior work with tech-enabled brokers or digital distribution- Familiarity with inbound lead models and/or lead marketplaces Apply tot his job
