The Computer Systems Security Specialist Jr. analyzes and defines security requirements for Multilevel Security (MLS) issues. Designs, develops engineers and implements solutions to MLS requirements. Responsible for the implementation and development of the MLS. • Performs risk analyses, which also include risk assessment. • Provides Daily supervision and direction to staff. Education and Years ofExperience:This position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science, information systems, engineering, business or other related scientific or technical discipline (Note: A Masters’s degree is preferred).GeneralExperience:The proposed candidate must have at least six (6) years of experience in analysis and definition of security requirements, and at least four (4) years of IT experience in data security. SpecializedExperience:The proposed candidate must have at least four (4) years of specialized experience in defining computer security requirements for high-level applications, evaluating approved security product capabilities, and developing solutions to MLS problems. Strong demonstrated experience with Palo Alto and Cisco ASA / FTD firewalls: design, configuration, implementation and troubleshootingDemonstrated experience with network security design and best-practice implementation.Experience with Firepower Management Center / Panorama monitoring and analysis for firewall troubleshooting and configurationExperience using Azure Sentinel or other similar SIEM log monitoring toolsExperience configuring and monitoring with ForeScout CounterAct for Network Access ControlCounterAct - Network Access Control (NAC)Aruba ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM) – wireless securitySuccessful completion of a Fingerprint background investigation.
