CTO/Vice President of Technology Development

Job Description About NexGen Technologies: NexGen Technologies is a holding/management for NexGen Virtual Office, LLC (www.nexgenvirtualoffice.com). The holding company employs an executive team that is utilized to facilitate finance, marketing, sales, human resources, and information technology. NexGen Technologies (NGT) has launched a new generation of customer contact management solutions, services, and technologies. NGT provides a new level of customer-centric services/technologies across all interactions in existing and emerging markets, specifically targeting the rapidly growing virtual workplace (digital real estate) market. By integrating state of the art technology NexGen Virtual Workplace is transforming into a secure virtual business management platform, giving management the tools needed to monitor and manage all work environments (Onsite, hybrid and remote). Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement the technical vision and strategy for the organization. • Lead the development and implementation of new technologies and systems. • Manage the company's technology team and resources. • Collaborate with other departments to align technology with business goals. • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities. • Ensure that the company's technology is scalable, secure, and compliant with industry regulations. • Manage relationships with vendors and partners to ensure access to the best technologies and services. • Manage the company's technology budget and ensure that all technology initiatives are completed on time and within budget. Requirements: • Deep understanding of software engineering and SaaS technologies. • Experience leading engineering teams. • Strong communication and organizational skills. • Proven track record of successful product releases. • Degree in computer science or a related field is advantageous. Highly Desirable Skills: • 3+ years of experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular 1, C#, React, and TypeScript • 3+ years of AWS DevOps and microservices • Strong SaaS and web application skills • Knowledge of SignalR, Redis, MySQL/MSSQL, and automated software • Experience with Agile methodology and excellent testing capabilities • MicroSoft Teams, Zoom and virtual workplace knowledge • Exceptional communication and presentation skills The CTO will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the executive team to ensure that the company's technology strategy supports and enhances the overall business strategy. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a desire to drive innovation within the organization. • Must be U.S. based, preferably on the East Coast.
