Cyber Intelligence Analyst ( 2 Positions, Hybrid Eligible)

About the positionResponsibilities• Generate & disseminate time-sensitive & emerging cyber threat/trend information &/or intelligence to all homeland security partners. • Review & analyze information/data from public & private sources, field organizations &/or agencies. • Monitor & evaluate the accuracy & reliability of information & sources. • Advise & assist agencies with priority intelligence requirements, bolthires & problem areas. • Recognize trends of terrorist, emergency management or criminal operations.• Conduct all-source analysis & research to identify, monitor, assess & counter threats, incidents, postings & events posed by foreign cyber actors. • Respond to the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) &/or State Fusion Center during critical incidents/events. • Develop plans, policies & procedures for the receipt of locally & federally generated time-sensitive cybersecurity threat information. • Independently review & analyze problems related to sophisticated &/or complex terrorism-related activity. • Develop proper research tools, methods & intelligence request forms.• Perform or assist with assessments, analysis & security advisory services. • Develop & analyze informational databases, spreadsheets & reports. • Prepare intelligence reports, presentations & briefings; serve on committees & prepare speeches. • Assist OHS Grants & Policy team to facilitate & implement grant funding objectives. • Utilize state vehicle to travel to various locations for intelligence collection and analysis. • Coordinate research activities with other departmental units &/or outside agencies.• Assist with daily operations & office-related tasks. • Support DPS cyber-related operations & projects. • Respond within the State of Ohio to provide cyber support during special events. • Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements• 36 months of experience conducting research & writing reports using operational, mathematical, analytical &/or statistical research techniques. • Completion of undergraduate core program in homeland security, political science, criminal justice, emergency management, public health, international affairs or related field; 12 months of experience conducting research & writing reports using operational, mathematical, analytical &/or statistical research techniques.• Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
