Declassification Analyst
About the positionThe Declassification Analyst position at Hexagon US Federal involves reviewing technical program records for the Naval Nuclear Propulsions Program in compliance with Executive Order 13526. The role requires strong reading and comprehension skills, as well as experience in declassification and records management. The ideal candidate will have a background in nuclear propulsion and will be responsible for recognizing and referring sensitive information appropriately. Responsibilities• Review technical program records in accordance with Executive Order 13526.• Evaluate technical manuals and drawings related to the Naval Nuclear Propulsions Program. • Recognize and refer documents containing Restricted Data and Formerly Restricted Data to appropriate agencies. • Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with declassification processes. • Maintain a Top Secret security clearance and obtain a DOE 'Q' clearance. Requirements• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of related experience in declassification or records management. • Completion of specialized training in E.O.13526 requirements and declassification analysis process. • Experience with EO 13526, FOIA/PA, DOD records management and/or declassification is a plus. • Must be a US Citizen and able to maintain a Top Secret security clearance. Nice-to-haves• Experience or knowledge of nuclear propulsion. • Additional years of experience may substitute for education.
