We are seeking a driven and experienced Development Consultant to drive our companys growth by identifying new market opportunities, developing business relationships, negotiating and closing business deals. Development Consultant responsibilities include understanding the needs of potential clients, crafting tailored solutions, and delivering compelling presentations. Our ideal candidate has a keen business acumen and a proven record of successful business development initiatives. Ultimately, the role of the Development Consultant is to expand our client base and increase our shelter services portfolio.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping growth strategies and plansIdentifying and mapping business strengths and customer needsResearching business opportunities and viable income streamsFollowing industry trends locally and internationallyDrafting and reviewing contractsReporting on successes and areas needing improvementsNegotiating with stakeholdersNetworking with industry professionals and potential clients to drive brand awarenessArranging business meetings with prospective clientsPromoting the companys products/services addressing or predicting clients objectivesQualificationsProven experience in business development or a related fieldExperience in sales, marketing, or related fieldStrong communication skills and IT fluencyAbility to manage complex projects and multi-taskExcellent organizational skillsAbility to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertaintyBSc degree in Business, Marketing or related fieldBenefitsProfessional development opportunitiesAdditional InformationJob Title: Development ConsultantWork Environment: Office setting with options for remote work.Some travel may be required for client meetings or networking events.
