Donor & Family Coordinator-TissueThe Donor & Family Coordinator- Tissue position works remotely (must reside within CO or WY,) guiding donor families throughout the tissue donation process.The role requires the ability to utilize clinical information to determine suitability for tissue donation, speaking with grieving family members, and managing the logistics of a tissue donation case. • The schedule for this role is 7 am- 7pm, Sunday-Tuesday, every other Saturday• Speak with hospital staff to gather more information and determine suitability for tissue donation• Approaching grieving families via phone to present the option of tissue donation. Complete donor risk assessment interviews with donor family members via the telephone, gathering pertinent medical/social history information• Work with internal and external teams to coordinate the logistics of a tissue donation case, including arranging transport, obtaining release from coroners/medical examiners, coordinating with funeral homes and other external agenciesHere at Donor Alliance, we’re committed to cultivating a workforce as dynamic and diverse as the community we serve.We understand that talent comes in many forms, and we look to hire individuals who bring a willingness to learn and a commitment to excellence.
