Zentrust is building next-generation systems designed to restore trust in digital environments. We’re creating foundational infrastructure—not just applications—focused on high-integrity computation, resilient platforms, and long-horizon technical architecture. We’re looking for a founding Chief Technology Officer to join at the earliest stage and co-build the company from the ground up. This is an equity-only role. No salary or cash compensation at this time. This position is for builders motivated by ownership, category creation, and long-term value. What You’ll Do • Architect Zentrust’s core platform and long-term technical roadmap • Design scalable, secure, and adversarial-resistant systems • Lead engineering strategy across infrastructure, AI systems, and data pipelines • Establish research-to-production workflows and evaluation frameworks • Build and mentor the founding engineering team • Own system reliability, security posture, and technical governance • Partner with the CEO on fundraising, technical narrative, and product strategy Who You Are • Deep systems-level programming experience • Strong background in distributed systems, backend platforms, or AI infrastructure • Comfortable designing large-scale architectures from scratch • Experienced in early-stage startups or zero-to-one builds • Entrepreneurial mindset—you want founder-level ownership • Obsessed with building durable, defensible technology Why Zentrust You’ll have founding-level influence over architecture, culture, and product direction.
