About the Role We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual English and Spanish Senior Customer Service Representative to join our team in Florida. As a Senior Customer Service Representative, you'll play a critical role in helping our members access the care they need, answering their questions, and providing them with personalized support. You'll be the face of our organization, working closely with our members, providers, and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer service and drive positive health outcomes. Key Responsibilities Frequent speaking, listening, and using a headset, with the ability to sit for long periods and use hands/fingers across a keyboard or mouse Working in a call center environment with moderate noise levels, due to representatives talking, computers, printers, and floor activity Encouraging members to use their benefits to seek appropriate care, complete preventive screenings, and adhere to their medications during direct phone-based customer interactions Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers to proactively assist members with coordinating appointments, requesting prescriptions, and arranging transportation Ensuring quality customer service for internal and external customers, responding to incoming customer service requests, and routing/escalating member concerns through appropriate channels Identifying and assessing customers' needs quickly and accurately, placing outgoing phone calls to complete follow-up on customer service-related measures, and responding to customer service inquiries or routing them to appropriate departments as necessary Establishing and demonstrating competency in eligibility and associated applications, implementing customer service strategies relating to STARS Outreach Measures, and recommending related improvements/enhancements Maintaining timely, accurate documentation for all appropriate transactions, consistently meeting established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards, and keeping management abreast of all outstanding issues Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: A High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience To be at least 18 years old 1+ years of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to work between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM from Monday - Friday, with some overtime may be requested Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience in a healthcare or insurance environment, with familiarity with medical terminology, health plan documents, or benefit plan design Background in social work, behavioral health, disease prevention, health promotion, and behavior change, with experience working with vulnerable populations Sales or account management experience Telecommuting Requirements As a remote employee, you'll need to: Reside within the state of Florida, within a commutable distance to an arenaflex office in Miami or Fort Lauderdale Have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy Have a reliable, high-speed internet connection Adhere to arenaflex's Telecommuter Policy Soft Skills To excel in this role, you'll need to possess excellent soft skills, including: Ability to navigate a computer while on the phone Ability to multi-task, understand multiple products, and multiple levels of benefits within each product Ability to remain focused and productive each day, despite repetitive tasks Ability to execute own assignments under the direction of experienced staff Ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks Willingness to seek assistance as appropriate and trouble-shoot problems Ability to work and contribute in a team environment Ability to learn new and complex computer system applications Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
