Job Overview In this role, you will be responsible for handling high-volume customer requests, performing data entry tasks, and providing excellent customer service to patients and prescribers. As a Call Center Representative, you will work under direct supervision and follow established guidelines and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Your duties will include processing patient enrollment, handling patient medication requests, and investigating missing prescription data. You will also be responsible for communicating with patients, prescribers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and provide support. Key Responsibilities: Utilize arenaflex's prescription data entry methodology and rules to process new patient enrollments and enter data into the system. Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing. Investigate missing prescription data and interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes). Resolve data entry-related exceptions and communicate with patients, prescribers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues. Provide support to pharmacists, both in the office and in other locations, and escalate issues to senior-level staff as needed. Obtain a active professional license or certification within the first 90 days and maintain an active professional license or certification. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Basic level computer skills (e.g., start and shut down computer, use mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between applications, save files, print documents, and access information online). Basic web browser skills, including opening a browser, typing URLs, using a search engine, bookmarking a page, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online. Intermediate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents). Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. 18 years old or older. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will make you a stronger candidate for this role: At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment. At least 1.5 years as a pharmacy technician with a certification/registration by the state as granted by the State Board of Pharmacy or nationally recognized certification agency. Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction. Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents). Fluency in Spanish and English.
