About the Role We are looking for a passionate and proactive problem solver to engage with arenaflex members, helping them find the right healthcare for their needs, understand how our program works, and assist them in getting their eligible claims paid. As a Contract Customer Service Representative, you will be the voice of arenaflex, providing exceptional support to our members via phone, chat, and email. Your expertise will be built around our product, operations, and the needs of our members, ensuring that you deliver amazing service and education to help them utilize their benefits effectively. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional service to arenaflex members through various channels, including phone, chat, and email, offering education and guidance to help them understand and utilize their benefits. Follow documented best practices for handling member inquiries, suggesting process improvements as you identify them to enhance our services. Manage and organize your workload using arenaflex's platform and tools, including Zendesk and G Suite, to ensure efficiency and productivity. Triage and escalate complex and urgent member care needs to ensure timely and effective resolutions. Retain detailed, working knowledge of employer health benefits and insurance to provide accurate and helpful support to our members. Relay member feedback to leadership teams to improve arenaflex's solution and contribute to our mission of improving the healthcare system. Candidate Profile To succeed in this role, you should have a passion for helping people solve their problems with the ability to think creatively and empathetically. Experience working in a customer-facing environment with demonstrated experience staying calm under pressure is essential. You should also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, a high level of process-orientation, digital organization, and resourcefulness. A desire to work in a rapidly evolving startup environment, comfort with some ambiguity, and enthusiasm for a role with room for growth are also crucial. Essential Qualifications A passion for helping people and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience in a customer-facing environment with a proven track record of staying calm under pressure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A high level of process-orientation, digital organization, and resourcefulness. A desire to work in a startup environment with some ambiguity and a willingness to learn and grow. A quiet and distraction-free work environment with a reliable internet connection (ability to hardwire if needed is strongly preferred). Preferred Qualifications A bachelor's degree, although not required, is preferred. Previous experience in the healthcare industry or a related field is an asset. Familiarity with customer service software and tools, such as Zendesk and G Suite, is beneficial.
