Job Summary The Customer Service Associate plays a vital role in supporting the store management team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, facilitate food and beverage preparation, operate the cash register, and maintain a clean and safe store environment. As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing an enjoyable shopping experience for all customers, responding to customer requests and concerns in a timely and courteous manner, and utilizing the GREAT customer service and customer recovery model to ensure customer engagement. Key Responsibilities Greet and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for all customers, responding to customer requests and complaints in a timely and courteous manner. Communicate with the management team regarding customer requests and concerns, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and efficiently. Operate the cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, and properly handle different methods of payment, maintaining proper cash levels in the register drawer and change machines. Comply with federal and state laws by requesting personal identification from customers who are purchasing restricted products, such as tobacco and/or alcohol. Stock and refill products within the interior and exterior core register area, cold express cases, bakery, and grocery aisles, ensuring that all areas are well-maintained and stocked at all times. Perform customer fuel transactions and monitor activities at the fuel court, stopping fuel pumps if necessary to ensure customer safety. Prepare all made-to-order food and/or beverages according to recipe or customer specifications, ensuring that all products are of high quality and meet customer expectations. Stock food and beverage areas with products and supplies, ensuring that all areas are well-maintained and stocked at all times, and that coffee thermals are filled and working properly. Ensure the proper execution of assigned foodservice and beverage programs and procedures, following established safety, security, quality, and store operations policies and procedures. Complete cleanliness tasks to ensure that all food and beverage service areas are free of any residue, debris, and spills, and that the store is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and safety. Essential Qualifications To be successful as a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Ability to work well individually and as part of a team, demonstrating good communication and customer service skills. Ability to learn and demonstrate all arenaflex Safety and Quality Assurance processes and procedures, ensuring that you can work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work overtime as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively to ensure that all responsibilities are completed to a high standard. Must be at least 16 years old, with reliable transportation and the ability to wear slip-resistant shoes at all times. Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs, and work safely with equipment that can create and hold very high temperatures using appropriate personal protective equipment.
