Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, and resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience. You will also be responsible for providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service, registering sales on assigned cash register, and recommending items for sale to customers. Key Responsibilities Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience to all customers, ensuring a positive and memorable shopping experience. Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service, and resolves customer issues and answers questions in a professional and courteous manner. Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, and recommends items for sale to customers and recommends trade-up and/or companion items. Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, takes inventory, and maintains records, and checks in and prices merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader. Implements arenaflex asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss, and ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products. Constructs and maintains displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise, and completes resets and revisions as directed. Assists with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures, and provides customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products. Assumes web pick-up responsibilities, monitors orders in Picture Care Plus, fills orders, and delivers orders to customers as they arrive at store. Assists with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance, and complies with all arenaflex policies and procedures. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required, with a minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience in a retail environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and patients in a friendly and professional manner. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to resolve customer issues and answer questions in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately handle cash and operate a cash register. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and reaching. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Previous experience working in a retail environment, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices. Knowledge of arenaflex policies and procedures, with a strong commitment to compliance and adherence. Experience working with store systems and equipment, including cash registers and inventory management systems. Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with others to achieve common goals and objectives.
