Job Overview As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, responding to their needs, and ensuring a safe and secure shopping environment. Your key priorities will include greeting customers, assisting them with the selection of merchandise, completing transactions, and answering questions regarding the store and merchandise. Key Responsibilities Provides customer engagement in a positive and approachable manner, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Assists in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store for customers during their shopping experience, ensuring that merchandise is properly displayed and faced. Helps in the unloading of merchandise from delivery trucks, organizes merchandise, and transports merchandise from stockroom to sales floor, ensuring that all merchandise is properly stored and secured. Independently stocks shelves and recovers merchandise in the store, ensuring that all merchandise is properly faced and displayed. Accurately handles customer funds and processes transactions using the POS system, ensuring that all transactions are completed efficiently and accurately. Remains constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, reporting any incidents or concerns to management. Performs all other duties as assigned in order to maintain an effective and profitable store operation, including participating in visual merchandising, store recovery, and other tasks as required. Position Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with the ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned. Previous experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred, although we are willing to train the right candidate. You will need to be physically able to regularly lift up to 40lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height, with the ability to meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments preferred. Ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned. Physical ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs.
