Job Overview In this role, you will be an integral part of our Payments and Digital Strategy team, responsible for handling everyday functions related to check processing, item processing, direct bills, and fund transfers. Your primary objective will be to provide exceptional customer service, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintain the highest level of accuracy and efficiency in your work. Key Responsibilities Complete data entry and balancing functions to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements Coordinate return items with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions to resolve issues efficiently Assist other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and related Accounting standard ledger balancing to provide exceptional customer service Work on member cases/sports assigned to you, following established procedures and guidelines to ensure timely resolution Follow and maintain guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines, as well as Federal Banking laws Process loan payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other checks, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff checks Review, examine, and approve Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products to ensure accuracy and compliance Log, report, and make necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns to maintain accurate records Process Stop Pays and Check Batching to ensure efficient and accurate processing Complete daily balancing and department closing to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Obtain information from members for timely and accurate processing of international and domestic fund transfer requests Research and confirm incoming and outgoing fund transfer information to ensure accuracy and compliance Communicate with vendors to process fund transfers efficiently and effectively Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming fund transfer laws and regulations to ensure compliance Deposit check returns, research member back checks on draft changes, process member checks, confirm members for outgoing fund transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing fund transfers Complete daily processing of workflows associated with late returns, supply of receipts, foreign collections, and legal fees Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: High school diploma or GED Intermediate Excel and Word skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple responsibilities and functioning as an integral part of a team Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze data Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-volume pressure Ability to cross-train and perform any role assigned within the department Ability to engage professionally with all personnel and members Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision Ability to self-motivate with strong organizational skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous customer/member service experience Previous banking or Credit Union experience Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) through work experience or training and hands-on use of the software Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
