Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a member of our Payments and Digital Strategy crew, you will be responsible for handling everyday tasks related to check processing, item processing, direct bills, and budget transfers. This is a remote job opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while still being part of a collaborative and supportive team. Key Responsibilities Complete data access and balancing tasks Coordinate return items with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions Assist other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and related Accounting standard ledger balancing Work member cases/sports assigned Follow and maintain guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws Process loan payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other checks, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff checks Review, examine, and approve Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products Log, report, and make necessary GL, account changes and/or returns Process Stop Pays and Check Batching Complete daily balancing and department closing Obtain information from contributors for the timely and accurate processing of international and domestic budget transfer requests Research and confirm incoming and outgoing budget transfer information Communicate with the vendor to process budget transfers Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming budget transfer laws Deposit check returns, research member back checks on draft changes, process member checks, confirm contributors for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers Complete daily processing of workflows associated with late returns, supply of receipts, foreign collections, and legal fees Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: High school diploma or GED Intermediate Excel and Word experience Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous customer/member service experience Previous banking or Credit Union experience Episys/Symitar and processing wires Skills and Competencies The ideal candidate will possess: Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint Ability to work extended hours in support of business needs Excellent customer service skills Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and function as an integral part of a team Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze data Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-volume pressure Ability to cross-train and perform any role assigned within the department Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and contributors Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision Ability to self-motivate with strong organizational skills and attention to detail Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
