Role Description As the Email Marketing Specialist at Hello Alice, you’ll focus on optimizing email as a means to drive small business owner engagement. You’ll report directly to the Senior Manager, Email Marketing. Here’s what you’ll be working on day-to-day, but as a nimble organization that puts our small business community at the forefront, flexibility is key, and other responsibilities may arise. • Manage day to day email execution including targeting, optimization, scheduling and coordination with the creative team. • Optimize existing owner touchpoints including content, cadence and creative. • Build customized and automated owner flows leveraging data collected during the owner onboarding process so that the owner experience is optimized based on where they are at with their business. • Evaluate existing ESP and where there needs to be integrated tools and services so our email communications can scale. • Provide reporting, actionable insights and adapt to refine performance to meet organization wide KPIs. • Develop and implement testing strategy for one off emails, weekly communications and automated flows. • Develop communications touchpoints plan for launch of new products and services, manage the implementation of and test and refine as needed. • Manage email programs required across the organization including in support of Partner Success and our Enterprise sales. Qualifications • Minimum of a BA degree in a related field. • 2-3 years of proven experience as an email marketing specialist. • Proficiency in marketing automation technology including Salesforce Marketing Cloud. • Excellent written communication skills with experience working and building relationships cross functionally. • Excellent analytical skills and ability to provide actionable insights from data. • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud highly desirable. Requirements • Ability to travel periodically throughout the United States. • Ability to work in a remote environment. Remote work includes working from a location other than a central office. Such locations could include an employee's home, a co-working or other shared space, a private office, or any other place outside of the traditional corporate office building or campus. • Ability to work for prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
