Job Summary We are seeking a focused and diligent Data Entry Clerk to continuously update our databases with accurate and timely information. The successful candidate will liaise with employees and customers to collect information, capture data into relevant databases, and identify and correct errors. This is a remote opportunity, and we are offering full or part-time positions to accommodate different schedules and preferences. Key Responsibilities Capture data into relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner Liaise with employees and customers to collect information and follow up on outstanding items Identify and correct errors, and bring them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary Perform data entry in EMR and other systems as required Prepare information for data entry, and perform entry-level support for the data entry function Perform high volume data entry work, and maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques Provide entry-level administrative support to the data entry function, and complete clerical functions or data entry tasks as required Train new data entry employees on computer systems, and perform routine clerical and data entry functions Ensure timely data entry and file management, and operate data entry devices to perform a variety of keypunching, data entry, and verification duties Review and verify data prior to entry, and perform daily audits and data entry corrections Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: Excellent attention to detail, and ability to accurately capture data into databases Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to liaise with employees and customers Basic computer skills, with ability to learn new systems and software High school diploma or equivalent required, with some college or university education preferred Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in data entry or a related field Knowledge of EMR systems or other database management software Advanced computer skills, with ability to learn new systems and software quickly Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business administration or computer science Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and competencies: Attention to detail : ability to accurately capture data into databases, and identify and correct errors Organizational skills : ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and meet deadlines Communication skills : ability to liaise with employees and customers, and provide excellent customer service Technical skills : ability to learn new systems and software, and operate data entry devices Problem-solving skills : ability to identify and resolve issues, and bring them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for career growth and development.
