Job Overview As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will be responsible for entering and modifying data within our digital databases, transferring information from paper documents to digital spreadsheets, and ensuring the accuracy of your entries through meticulous double-checking. This is a temporary, contract position of 40 hours per week, lasting 6 months, with the potential for a full-time role upon successful completion. Key Responsibilities Maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information and adhering to arenaflex's data protection policies Entering customer and account data by inputting both text and numerical information from source documents within specified deadlines, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail Compiling, verifying accuracy, and organizing information based on priorities to prepare it for computer entry, utilizing strong analytical and problem-solving skills Reviewing data for errors or deficiencies, correcting incompatibilities when possible, and checking the final output to ensure quality and precision Researching and gathering additional information for incomplete documents, demonstrating resourcefulness and initiative Applying data program techniques and procedures, staying up-to-date with industry best practices and arenaflex's standard operating procedures Generating reports, storing completed work in designated locations, and performing backup operations to ensure data integrity and security Qualifications To be considered for this role, you should possess: High School Diploma or Equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in basic education Minimum 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to quickly adapt to new software applications Strong understanding of data entry principles and practices, including data validation, data cleansing, and data normalization Proficiency in touch typing and database management tools, with the ability to learn and master new systems and technologies Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a strong focus on teamwork and mutual support Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively Familiarity with financial industry software and systems, including accounting and customer relationship management (CRM) platforms Knowledge of data quality control and data governance principles, with the ability to apply these principles in a practical setting Certification in data entry, administrative assistance, or a related field, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and continuous learning Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
