**Experienced External Support Engineer – Content Tools and Workflow Expert**

As a key member of our content tools and workflow team, you'll provide technical support to content teams, create reference materials and training programs, and work closely with the tools development team to resolve issues and improve workflows. If you're a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for problem-solving and collaboration, we'd love to hear from you. **Essential Functions/Responsibilities** * Provide technical support to content/external teams in regards to use of content tools, including troubleshooting and debugging issues * Create reference materials and provide training to get external teams up to speed with the toolset, including documentation and user guides * Solve and debug possible issues with tools and workflows to quickly resolve issues for users, and escalate more complex or problematic issues to the tool development team * Advocate for tools, workflow improvements, and suggestions from external teams, and partner with other engineers to develop tools and processes that improve efficiency and quality * Guide or lead cross-disciplinary dialogs to drive features from initial concept to completion, and exemplify reliability, accountability, and professionalism in all work-related interactions * Collaborate with the tools development team to track issues in JIRA, and work with production to resolve these issues efficiently **Skills and Abilities** * Ability to read and understand C# code, and experience with Unity 3D game and tool development * Good written and verbal communication skills, including working with external partners and stakeholders * Positive attitude and ability to receive and provide objective and constructive feedback * Excellent organization skills, and ability to prioritize and manage numerous requests simultaneously * Self-motivating, with a strong sense of accountability and professionalism * Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other defect tracking software, and iOS and Android mobile development experience **Education and Experience** * Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent work experience * Experience supporting a live service or tool environment, with a strong understanding of software development lifecycles * 5 years' experience in delivering production-level code in a professional environment, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork * Experience working in a remote-first environment, with a strong ability to communicate and collaborate with distributed teams **Position Type/Expected Hours of Work** Our core hours are 10:00am to 6:00pm CST, which means you should be available for meetings and collaborations during this time.
