Your primary responsibilities will include:• Leading and directing comprehensive financial risk assessments of current and potential borrowers, including the evaluation of complex monetary records and financial data• Participating in large-scale forecasting and financial guarantee assessment initiatives, requiring in-depth analysis and expertise in financial risk assessment• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including financial security assessment professionals, to resolve issues and achieve business objectives• Leading and mentoring teams, or acting as a peer coach, to drive business growth and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements• Developing and implementing effective risk management strategies, ensuring proactive monitoring, risk identification, and escalation, as well as sound risk decision-makingKey ResponsibilitiesAs a Financial Risk Assessment and Insurance Examiner, your key responsibilities will include:• Conducting complex financial risk assessments, including the evaluation of financial data, credit reports, and other relevant information• Developing and maintaining expertise in financial risk assessment, including knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry trends, and best practices• Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including business leaders, risk managers, and compliance professionals, to ensure alignment and effective risk management• Identifying and escalating potential risks, ensuring timely and effective remediation, and developing strategies to mitigate future risks• Providing guidance and support to junior team members, promoting a culture of excellence, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environmentEssential QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will require:• Experience in financial risk assessment, insurance examination, or a related field, demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education• A strong understanding of financial risk assessment principles, practices, and regulatory requirements• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams• A professional accounting certification (AAT or higher) is preferred, but not requiredPreferred QualificationsWhile not required, the following qualifications are preferred:• A professional accounting
