As a Data Analyst Intern, you will play a critical role in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation by identifying statistical trends and performance metrics to improve the Quality Control division. You will work closely with our team to analyze data, create reports, and make recommendations for process improvements that align with our organization's objectives. **Responsibilities and Expectations** As a Data Analyst Intern, your responsibilities and expectations will include: * Performing and assisting others in the Quality Control team in ideal data collection, validation, and analysis on data components. * Helping to create and present results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders. * Assisting in exploring ad-hoc requests arising from emerging maintenance issues and providing logical answers to enable Senior Leaders to make business decisions while balancing existing project responsibilities. * Presenting insights, trends, and potential recommendations by using data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding. * Helping to create and disseminate specific questions to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements. * Identifying irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and conveying findings to the team. * Assessing the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors * Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision * May perform other work responsibilities as directed by Group Leader. **Requirements and Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: * Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets with care and accuracy. * Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and convey ideas and present findings in writing, verbally, or through presentations to diverse audiences. * Ability to evaluate business issues, identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and interpret resulting metrics. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong understanding of data visualization tools and capabilities, such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase. * Ability to grasp the issue, summarize, and perform root cause analysis on data, and provide recommendations using logic and reasoning. * Willingness to use PowerPoint to build presentations for verbal communications. * Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework experience is preferred. * Ability to work independently in a team-oriented, help/group-focused environment. * Ability to focus on responsibilities diligently and be a self-motivated individual. * Past internship experience in a related field is preferred. * Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data appropriately. * Ability to plan and support large business initiatives. **What We Offer** As a Data Analyst Intern at arenaflex, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, develop your skills and knowledge, and contribute to our organization's mission.
