As a project-based customer service - healthcare prescription benefits specialist at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in supporting US-based customers with their prescription benefits questions and concerns. As a healthcare customer care coordinator, you will be responsible for addressing customer questions and concerns regarding their prescription healthcare benefits, providing information about their insurance coverage, and educating customers on online self-service tools. Key Responsibilities Answer inbound calls from US customers and address questions and concerns regarding their prescription healthcare benefits Provide information about insurance coverage, including what is included in the customer's benefit plan, addressing copays, and assisting with coverage determination Handle prescription refills, order status updates, and tracking Educate customers on online self-service tools for updates and help troubleshoot these self-services Empathize and resolve concerns to simplify the customer's healthcare experience Navigate through multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy Adapt to learn new call types when business needs change and flex support in those areas Work at Home Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to have a dedicated, quiet, and secured workspace with no distractions. You will also need to meet the following technical requirements: High-speed internet with at least 10 mbps download speed (no satellite, Wi-Fi, or cellular/wireless carrier hotspot or internet services) A hard-wired internet connection via Ethernet cable to modem/router that you own/are responsible for (arenaflex will ship you company equipment such as the PC, mouse, keyboard, etc. to use on your network) A USB wired headset with noise-canceling microphone Additional Requirements To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: Be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma/GED Have a minimum of 6 months of customer service experience Have a customer-focused personality and a desire to help people Have a professional, positive attitude and courteous telephone etiquette Be available to work a full-time schedule, including evenings and weekends Be willing to submit to a drug test and background check Essential and Preferred Qualifications In addition to the requirements listed above, the following qualifications are essential and preferred: Essential: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong problem-solving skills Preferred: Experience in the healthcare industry, knowledge of insurance coverage and benefits, and experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong active listening skills and ability to empathize with customers Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and navigate multiple computer applications Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve customer concerns Ability to adapt to changing business needs and learn new skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for career growth and development.
