About the Role The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for developing relationships with customers, gathering requirements, and negotiating terms to provide products to our diverse customer base. This is a great B2B professional sales opportunity with a large base of repeat customers, and the primary focus will be on digital communications – live chat and email with customers. Whether you are a recent college graduate or an experienced sales professional, we welcome candidates with enthusiasm to serve our customers and provide them with exceptional sales and customer service experiences. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers via phone calls, emails, and live chat to ensure customer satisfaction and identify new sales opportunities Identify and investigate customer requirements and provide solutions to meet their needs, utilizing your knowledge of our products and services Make accurate, rapid cost calculations to provide customers with quotations and negotiate the terms of agreements to close sales Provide superior customer service to increase sales opportunities and advise on forthcoming product developments and upsell special promotions Check quantities in inventory and order progress with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products Gather market and customer information to provide feedback on future buying trends and identify new markets and business opportunities Aim to meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the growth and success of our company Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent sales experience. We are looking for an enthusiastic sales professional with industrial/technical product sales, B2B sales, or strong customer service experience. You should have strong math skills and the ability to learn technical product applications, as well as computer proficiency including MS Word, Excel, and the ability to type 40 WPM. In addition to these technical skills, you will need to have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be a strong team player with the ability to prioritize and multi-task. You should be able to demonstrate creativity and initiative in a sales environment and have a high level of professionalism with strong attention to detail.
